We visited Bora Bora 5 times during our stay at a villa nearby. Our compliments to the chef as our meals were consistently excellent, no matter what we ordered. We recommend the fresh tuna and the mahi mahi. The staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating.

My gazpacho was delicious and very refreshing, being in the steamy tropics. Starters were an Indonesian style mahi mahi gravlax and a ceviche which was a hit with some in our party. My husband swears that the Balinese Pepes Ikan was one of the best he’s ever had!

Close to the ocean, fabulous views. The food is the best we had during our two week stay in Bali; we had dinner there several times. Try the grilled mahi mahi and for dessert the chocolate lava cake.

Part of Mayo Resort, I am reviewing this separately as it is a restaurant that deserves its own identity. The quality of the food and service is exceptional. It has a high quality Mediterranean bistro vibe, and with the sea just a few feet away, it has one of the best seafront locations in North Bali.

A great time to come is just before sunset, take in the awesome sea views and the volcanoes and mountains in the background, a cocktail or two as the sun sets behind them in spectacular fashion…. you’ll not regret and you’ll not forget.

Situated at the tip of a small peninsula surrounded by the sea, Bora Bora has a marvellous atmosphere, especially at sunset. We enjoyed an excellent variety of tapas inspired by French, Carribean and Asian elements, and for main course a freshly caught steamed grouper in a spicy thai sauce. What a pleasure for the tongue, an unforgettable experience.

We can’t recommend the place highly enough. We stayed at the Mayo Resort and ate here day and night, we didn’t want to eat anywhere else. We traveled with two young children who can be extremely fussy when it comes to food but nothing was too much trouble for the kitchen. We ate some of the best seafood we have ever had at this place.
