Absolutely perfect, 10/10 without hesitation! The staff were outstanding. The hotel restaurant and its cocktails offered a great mix of local and Western dishes. I’ll be back as soon as possible! Yes, the hotel isn’t in the city, but for relaxation, peace, and quiet, it’s exceptional!

"We would have stayed longer if we could!"

Everything was wonderful! Small complex, spacious rooms, beautiful sea view and sunsets. We came for peace and relaxation, and we definitely found it. We went snorkeling on the reef just 100m in front of the hotel—lots of colorful fish and blue starfish. We would have extended our stay if the resort hadn’t been fully booked!

"Excellent value for money"

Large room with balcony, fridge, strong air conditioning, and a lovely pool. Plenty of choices for breakfast. I didn’t expect much when I went snorkeling but was amazed by how beautiful the reef was.

This was the seventh hotel in Indonesia we stayed at and certainly the best of all. Our favorite hotel in Bali. At first we didn’t like the remoteness because everything was so far away—then we loved the remoteness for exactly that reason.

Mayo Resort is the perfect place to unwind and recharge! Our villa was beautiful, with very comfortable beds. Every evening we watched the sunset from our balcony, and every morning enjoyed a quiet walk along the beach. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Can’t wait to return!

"Incredible value & experiences"

Mayo Resort is a true gem. Away from the tourist crowds, right on the beach with views of local fishing boats. The Family Suite was wonderfully spacious, and the pool and loungers were ideal for cooling down in the afternoon. We even swam with turtles off Menjangan Island! Dining at Bora Bora restaurant was excellent, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay. This resort and restaurant offer remarkable value for money.

"We only wish we stayed longer"

We stayed in the Villa and felt treated like royalty. Excellent beds and air conditioning in every room. Outstanding food at Bora Bora restaurant. Peaceful all day—perfect for a luxury stay. Our teenage daughters didn’t want to leave (neither did we). We only had 3 nights—that was a mistake. We should have booked 5–7 nights had we known it was such a special place.
